Energy prices are skyrocketing these years and most recently the invasion of Ukraine has caused a European energy crisis due to the curtailment of Russian natural gas. This presents a major challenges in a number of industries with high energy consumption. This also applies to the dairy industry, where natural gas is an important source of energy. Therefore, the industry is now busy preparing alternative energy sources and other types of production.
